About the Speaker
Babajide Shenkoya
Babajide holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and a Master’s in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Obafemi Awolowo University, where he focused on statistical and computational methods at the Translational Pharmacokinetic Research Group. He is currently a Doctoral candidate at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. His research interests include applying quantitative approaches, particularly pharmacometric techniques such as non-compartmental analysis (NCA), population pharmacokinetics (popPK), pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling, and clinical trial simulations (CTS), to address critical questions in clinical practice and drug development.

We are a group of scientists in Nigeria, who belong to the Pharmacometrics Africa Network, dedicated to advancing patient care through clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics. Our mission is to optimize drug therapy and improve patient outcomes by leveraging modelling and simulation tools to understand drug behaviour and patient response by providing data-driven insights to guide treatment outcomes.
